The day we visited Kalsoy, Gjogv and Torshavn was not rushed at all, although we were on a schedule (mostly determined by Kalsoy ferry). We took the 8:00 ferry to Kalsoy and 15:10 ferry back. On a Monday morning, the ferry was half-empty, but the return ferry in the afternoon was packed, and we made sure to be in line for it by 14:30.
