@nickyboy, i did google before posting this topic but i was getting conflicting results and most of the results were american and the american based sites say they are different. i only found 2 links that were australian based and both Australian based links didn't answer my question.

Q: I've come across numerous recipes over the years for different types of bread. Some have asked for bread flour and I've always substituted all-purpose. What's the difference between the two?
